Airbyte

Airbyte is how we move data reliably without runaway cost: automated, incremental replication from the systems your business runs on into your warehouse. It anchors most of the ingestion work we ship.

When Airbyte work comes to us

The problems this solves

The bill grows with every source

Legacy ETL pricing punishes exactly the thing you’re trying to do: connect more of the business.

Silent failures

Syncs break quietly, and the first alert is a stakeholder asking why the dashboard looks wrong.

The missing connector

A system you depend on isn’t supported by your current tool, and the workaround is a manual export.

Full reloads, full cost

Pipelines re-copy everything on every run, hammering source systems and the budget alike.

How it fits together

Reliable pipelines, without the babysitting

Every source replicates incrementally into the warehouse, moving only what changed. Problems surface through alerts, not complaints.

Diagram of an Airbyte ingestion architecture: databases such as Postgres and SQL Server, SaaS applications such as Salesforce, Stripe, and ads platforms, and files flow through Airbyte, which provides reliability through retries and incremental sync, cost control by moving only changed data, and connector flexibility with built-in and custom connectors, into a governed warehouse such as Snowflake. An observability layer monitors freshness, volume anomalies, failed syncs, and cost across every sync.

Move data frequently. Keep it cheap. Keep it stable.
What’s included

What we do with Airbyte

From your first connector to an ingestion layer that scales sources without scaling headaches.

  • Airbyte deployment, cloud and self-managed
  • Connector setup across databases, SaaS tools, ads platforms, and files
  • Custom connector development when a source isn’t covered
  • Incremental replication design, so cost scales with change, not volume
  • Migration from legacy ETL and ELT tools, validated in parallel
  • Monitoring and alerting wired to freshness and volume
  • Ingestion cost monitoring and tuning as sources grow
  • Enablement, so your team can add the next source themselves

Outcomes

70%

reduction in data ingestion costs after we migrated an enterprise customer’s pipeline infrastructure to Airbyte

There’s a lot of focus on building modern data stacks. Cost efficiency matters just as much as capability, and the right ingestion architecture delivers both.

Questions we hear

Frequently asked questions

Why Airbyte over Fivetran or other ELT tools?

Cost model and connector flexibility are the usual reasons. We’ve migrated clients off Fivetran to Airbyte with no downtime and lower integration costs, including GA4 and Magento workloads. That said, the right tool depends on your sources and volumes, and if Airbyte isn’t the fit, we’ll say so.

Airbyte Cloud or self-managed?

It depends on your security posture, data volumes, and appetite for operating infrastructure. We deploy and run both, and will lay out the cost and control tradeoffs for your situation plainly.

What if a connector we need doesn’t exist?

We build it. Airbyte’s connector development tooling makes custom connectors practical, and it’s one of the platform’s real advantages: you’re not waiting on a vendor’s roadmap for access to your own data.

How do you keep syncs from failing silently?

Monitoring wired to freshness and volume, with alerts that reach a human before a stakeholder notices a stale dashboard. Observability is designed in from the first sync, not added after the first incident.
